Jacques Villeneuve: Winning; From Indy to F1

Jacques Villeneuve

Formula One World Champion, Indy 500 Winner & IndyCar Series Champion Canadian Jacques Villeneuve won the 1997 Formula One World Championship for the Williams-Renault team, a remarkable feat given that he achieved it in only his second full season of Formula One motor racing, and against arch rival Michael Schumacher.

Today, Jacques is an expert Formula One commentator on both French and Italian television, he undertakes corporate appearances and is a partner in a race-track design company. At speaking events and global conferences he shares captivating stories from his racing career; focussing on risk, innovation, teamwork and the combination of talent and technology required to win.

“Jacques is only one of three drivers alive today to have won both the Indy 500 and the Formula 1 World Championships. His achievements span the pinnacle of north American racing as well as European, and he has the added fame of being the son of one of Formula 1’s most legendary drivers.

He is a terrific guy to work with, happy to share stories and insights, and of course he can also do so in three languages – something which can be especially appealing to clients in certain markets.  It’s also true to say he races wheel to wheel with some of the greats including Michael Schumacher and Mika Hakkinen.”
