Mark has worked in the media since the 1980s, when he was F1™ correspondent for publications and broadcasters including the Sunday Express newspaper, BBC Radio and Independent Radio News. He went on to become a press consultant for top F1 sponsors Marlboro and Canon before evolving his career into team management, and today he is F1 Analyst for BBC 5 Live, with regular appearances on BBC 5 Live Sports Extra, BBC World and BBC News 24.

In addition Mark regularly contributes to channels including Al Jazeera News, Sky News, TALKsport Radio, Bloomberg, CNN and Channel 4 News.

Mark’s book, ‘The Business of Winning – Strategic Success from the Formula One track to the Boardroom’, was published by Kogan Page in London in October 2014. It provides a comprehensive insight into the business of Formula One, with a foreword by David Coulthard MBE. This was his second book, following ‘Grand Prix – The Last 25 Years’  published by WH Smith, London in 1991.
