Status targets Monza success

Status Grand Prix goes into the finale of the 2011 GP3 series in Monza, Italy, with lead driver Alexander Sims hoping to improve on his 4th place in the Formula One-feeder series. The team has enjoyed a roller coaster ride this season, leading the championship in July only to endure two difficult weekends in Hungary and Belgium.

“There is much to do this weekend because the competitive among these aspiring F1 drivers is intense,” says Mark Gallagher. “Alex has what it takes, but in front of the F1 teams gathered here for the final European F1 race of the season, the one thing you can be sure of is that everyone will be trying their hardest to prove themselves.”
